Cannot unhide my hidden Files and Folders

I cannot unhide my hidden files and folders on my computer even after configuring to show all hidden files?
The problem is due to a virus RavMon, the solution of this problem is very simple as described below.
1. Make sure you have antivirus program installed. You can get one like AVG free if you don't have one.
2. Update your virus definition
3. Do a full system scan, it should catch a virus (RavMon virus)
4. Then you need to do the following to restore the show hidden files functionality.

a. Click “Start” the choose “Run…” (or press Windows key + R)

b. Type regedit and click OK.
PLEASE do this with caution, incorrectly editing your registry entry might render your computer useless.

c. Browse the registry entry using the left panel HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explorer > Advanced > Folder > Hidden > SHOWALL

d. Look at the “CheckedValue” key… (Double Click on it) This should be a DWORD key. It will be 0 (zero) Change it to 1.

If it isn’t, one or in other format ............ delete the key.

e. Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.

f. Close the regedit,
and you should be able to show hidden files again
